As stores begin to reopen across the US, Five Below pushes ahead with aggressive growth.
The company which was started in 2002 and has grown to over 900 stores has has reopened 75% of its locations as the lockdown restrictions ease. Year to date Five Below has added 40 new stores and continues to expect to open 100 to 120 new stores in 2020.
The average five Below is 8,000/sf and can easliy take a portion of a midbox or junior anchor space which is greate news for landlords feeling the impact of the many national junior anchors that will be shuttering.
